Chefs de partie

Chef de Partie – JTCATERING 

We have a fantastic new vacancy for Chef de Partie

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist our successful kitchen team in producing 'Wow' dishes for our guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.

  • Take direction from department managers and to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.

  • Follow the talented Head Chefs example of excellence and efficiency.

  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times

  • Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

Requirements:

  • Have previous experience working within busy restaurants or in a similar role.

  • Have a passion for and genuine interest in food.

  • Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members.

  • Be a team player.

  • Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

  • Have good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

Commis chef

Commis Chef required for a busy but fun kitchen in Drogheda 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Commis Chef in a busy kitchen. They will have knowledge and experience of HACCP / hygiene management and basic knife skills. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join the team with a Head Chef who will invest time and effort in training and developing their team.

Sous-chef 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef 


Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Head Chef, the sous chef plays a vital role in supporting the operations management of the kitchen, and in the production of excellent food.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the kitchen operations.

  • Lead by example in excellent food production.

  • Mentor our skilled and ambitious culinary staff.

  • Support the Head Chef in their duties,deputise in their role as required. 

  • Play an important role in the success of our restaurant and event offerings.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a chef in hotels or restaurants. 

  • Unrelenting focus on quality.

  • Qualification in culinary arts, or similar is desired,but not essential.

  • A personal desire to be developed and to learn in your role.

  • Ability to support the successful operations of the kitchen.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
